– Metrics Chartered Professional Accounting is celebrating women in technology and finance by awarding an annual scholarship to female students entering their final year of studies at Camosun College. Eligible women should have a background in technology, as well as, be currently pursuing an education with the School of Business in Accounting and Finance.
This Fund was established by Metrics Chartered Professional Accounting to recognize, encourage, and assist a deserving female student entering her last year of studies at Camosun College leading to a credential certificate, diploma, or degree. A cash gift of $5000 will be contributed annually over a three-year period beginning in 2020.
Metrics is a digital accounting firm based in Victoria, BC. They service clients of all sizes and all locations across the country. Regan McGrath, CEO and Founding Partner, is recognized for her work at Metrics, in entrepreneurialism, and in volunteering within the community. She mentors people throughout Canada on STEM and SMAC initiatives and is an active member of the Victoria Committee for Women in Capital Markets to fight against gender inequality. Metrics leads by example and is committed to returning 1% of their gross revenue back to the community. Metrics believes together we are stronger.
